As expected and true to size. The arms are a tad tight at the opening for me but the space in the chest makes up for it in terms of movement. XXL is going to need alterations to the length of the sleeves possibly if you are 5'2" with shorter arms like me. It swallows my hands, unfortunately. I may attempt to iron a cuff in the fabric short term but it's pretty soft material. I love how light and wearable this is. I would go for a more expensive pirate coat sometime but other times this is exactly the base of what you need and more without breaking the bank. Very nice gift I received. Construction is solid.
